“The AISHK held a competition for the design of future facilities at the school. MAP prevailed in the competition against some much larger Hong Kong architectural firms. The masterplan exercise brought clarity to many issues including the development potential of the site, the reason for the set-back restriction in the lease and the actual car parking requirement.
MAP also evaluated the optimum location of the main entry to the school and the ability to update the entry to provide an air-conditioned lobby and lift access to the main concourse level of the school. The renovation of the entry is to proceed through design and approvals in 2017 and construction in 2018.”
